2K Games has secured a seasoned producer from the creators of Apex Legends to lead the development team at their internal studio, which is currently working on the forthcoming over-the-shoulder action-packed title known as Project Ethos.

Brinkman takes on the role of studio head at 31st Union following the exit of previous head Michael Condrey, who was removed from his post due to the game's lackluster initial reveal last autumn.
Recently, the company's top executive a key figure informed staff about this strategic move through an internal memo, which highlighted that playtesting had shown the need for a distinct game identity.
Ismailer noted that the team is now reimagining the project with a refreshed approach, aiming to better meet community desires.

The news follows a comparable action taken by 2K Games in the summer, when they recruited Rod Fergusson from the Diablo team to contribute to the BioShock studio Cloud Chamber.
